As a Job Seeker, you will be asked to enter your Personal, Educational, Professional and Communication information including Email address and Mobile Number when you register with us. You may also optionally upload your files (resumes/CVs) containing one or more of your private information and a profile photo identifying you. This information will be shared with recruiters registered on our platform.

As a Recruiter, you will be asked to enter your Institution's communication details including personal and official contact numbers and Email ID, along with the Job vacancy information of your Institute. This will be shared with Job seekers.

1.2 IP Address

For security measures, we record your IP address at the time of login, registration and data modification. This information is private and used solely for security purposes.

1.3 Open ID / OAuth / Service Provider Login

When logging in using Open ID / OAuth 2.0 (Google, Yahoo, Facebook, Microsoft), your email ID and password are directly sent from your device to the concerned provider and not to our website. Your email ID is sent to us only after successful authentication.

1.4 Device Information

We may collect information about your device including device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information to improve our services and troubleshoot issues.

• Purpose: Required for all core app functionality including user authentication, job listings, search, Firebase Cloud Messaging for job alerts, and API communication with backend services.

2.2 Location Access (Fine and Coarse Location)

• Purpose: To provide location-based job search functionality, find jobs near your current location, display distance to job locations, and filter jobs by proximity.
• Optional: Yes - You can deny this permission and use manual location search by entering city/district name instead.
• Data Storage: Location data is processed in real-time for search purposes and is not permanently stored unless you save a preferred location.

2.3 Camera Access

• Purpose: Required for QR code scanning feature to scan job fair QR codes and quick access to event details.
• Optional: Yes - You can deny this permission and manually enter event codes instead.
• Data Storage: No images or video are stored from camera usage.

2.4 SMS Access (Receive SMS - SMS Retriever API)

• Purpose: For OTP (One-Time Password) autofill during login and phone verification.
• Technology Used: We use the SMS Retriever API which is a privacy-focused approach that only reads OTP messages intended for our app. We do NOT have access to read other SMS messages.
• Optional: Yes - You can manually enter OTP if you prefer not to grant this permission.

• Purpose: For phone number hint feature to suggest your phone number during registration/login, reducing typing effort.

• Job Matching: Recruiters will search and locate Job Seeker information available with us to send job opportunities.
• Job Discovery: Job seekers will search and apply to job notifications posted and also able to view contact information and institution details allowed by recruiters to share.
• Notifications: Our automated systems and support team members will locate candidate profiles and send job offer notifications through SMS, Email, and App Push notifications.
• Service Improvement: To analyze usage patterns and improve our services.
• Security: To protect against fraudulent or illegal activity.
• Communication: To respond to your inquiries and provide customer support.

You can update or correct your personal information at any time through your profile settings.
